Press Release

New Relai System Product Launch – 1st January 1993

Lynx Avionics has announced the introduction of a new range of headsets and helmet products for use in open cockpit aviation.

The Lynx Relai System Headset is designed for direct connection to hand-portable radios and is intended for use by pilots of single seat aircraft and airport ground crew. The headset includes a built-in volume control and two Push-To-Transmit switches, one on each ear-cup. A connector is also provided to allow an additional Push-To-Transmit switch to be connected. The headset can be adapted to work with any make or model of radio by changing a small plug-in module.

The Lynx Relai System Helmet is designed to fit over the headset, and combines with it, to form an integrated assembly. The helmet is moulded from Polycarbonate and is fitted with a full-face visor.

This range of new products provides pilots of single seat aircraft and ground crew with high quality communication in very high noise environments where wind noise may also be a problem. The equipment is extremely practical and convenient to use, especially in the latest generation of open cockpit ultralight aircraft.

The new products are available now and can be obtained from your nearest Lynx Avionics distributor. If you would like more information about Lynx products or details of your nearest distributor, a complete information pack is available on request.
