New Relai System Headset – 1st December 2007

Lynx Avionics has announced significant improvements to their Relai System Headset, which is used with hand-held transceivers and allows portable radio communication in very high noise environments.

The new headset includes redesigned electronics to provide compatibility with a much wider range of transceivers; in particular, the headset is now compatible with all Motorola radios including Private Mobile Radio (PMR) and Public Access Mobile Radio (PAMR). The new headset is also optimised for use with the latest Icom A6 and Icom A24 airband transceivers and is now completely immune to the Radio Frequency (RF) feedback problems often associated with external connections to these particular radios. The new headset is also supplied with the correct ninety degree angled mini-jack plug connector when ordered for use with Icom A6 and Icom A24 radios.

In addition, Relai System Headsets are available as standard for use with radio transceivers from all of the following manufacturers: Alinco, Cobra, Delcom, Dittel, Icom, JRC, Kenwood, King, Maxon, Narco, Sporty's, STS, Vertex, Win and Yeasu.

Customers with previous versions of the Relai System Headset are also able to return their headsets to Lynx Avionics for upgrade to the new specification.
